Who cares. He's not your DC, he's your HC. Let's wait before we say he's going to walk on water or sink like an anchor. We all have no idea. His age can work for or against him. His strategy can work for or against him. Point is, we all have no idea, so let's simply wait and see. Should be pretty obvious within the next couple of years.
Very good post, I agree. Also, Mangini was working with a depleted secondary, that was starting mostly rookies and backups, that was probably why they would say he wasn't aggressive. I'm sure any of us would agree that they would take his defense over the one we had last year.
no, lol. rajensen comparison's are reserved only for old miser's and rain clouds. your dirtywater, but thats because of horrible civic maintainence. haha and good post about mangini, dirty
The funny part is that the comments were from Ellis Hobbs, maybe if Hobbs (and the rest of the young, inexp. secondary) wasn't such a liability the rest of the D could have been a little more aggressive.
Hobbs a liability? Funny stuff. In ten starts last year as a rookie he's already established himself as the best of the Patriots corners--and he's just beginning. Hobbs emergence is the reason that the Patriots were finally able to get Duane Starks, who Patriots fans wanted to put a hit out on, off the field and Hobbs played a major role in the second half turnaround of the D.
Which Broncos game? The regular season one that was all Broncos in the first half and all Patriots in the second? Or the playoff game where Jake Plummer "lit it up" for all of 15 completions and 197 yards total?
