This hasn't nor will ever be a scheme issue with what I saw out there, our talent stinks at the dline
I was agreeing with his 3-4 comment (you probably didn't know, but that's our defensive scheme), so nice try. This is more than just my opinion, it's that of many many people who have a far more vast knowledge of the game than any of us. Former coaches, players, and GMs that analyze and comment on the team. Show your complete ignorance and call them assinine too, because you must know more than the guys that have been in the show, right? Take your head outta your ass and watch the game.
"We'll look at the film and evaluate it. If it shows Chad having sex with a couple of transvestite midgets we'll probably make a change."
I love Mangini, but if he's pissed, he should be pissed at himself. Every game this season, every game pre-season, he has put a team on the field that was unprepared for the game. That's confusing, because he has become known for intensive team preparation. But obviously he's doing something wrong, and nowhere is that bigger than with respect to the porous defense. I want Donnie Henderson back!!! Sure, last year's D was not fantastic, but how the hell did we get like this? It doesn't make sense. The D should have gotten better. It is baffling, and this season is depressing
It's not baffling to me. It's obviously management issues both in the FO and the CS. Teams don't regress like this Jets team has unless the head is starting to rot.
The Front Office did nothing wrong. Last year, the Jets fielded a good team, and this year's team did not change much, personnel-wise. The team should have meshed, but obviously it did not. I place that blame on the coaching staff, but I think it's beyond the Front Office. I applaud the Front Office for putting this team together... and for taking a chance on Mangini, even though he's doing poorly this season.
