i actually agree with just about everything you wrote to a T. had the potential to be so much more but zach snyder is a garbage director...all glam, no substance. only thing i disagree with was the casting of amy adams. i was skeptical at first but didn't mind her at all. the casting error for me was fishburne as perry white...and no, not because he's black. i've always seen perry white as a borderline comic relief type of character in the superman universe. lawrence fishburne is anything but that type of actor, and the way the character was written into the film just did not work for me. came away very dissappointed. score was solid though.
My thing with Amy Adams has nothing to do with her performance, like you said she was fine, I just don't see her as Lois Lane. When she is on screen, I see Amy Adams. If you cast an unknown as Superman, you should do the same with Lois.
