Davone Bess is a 78, which is too low in my opinion. Sean Smith is a 76 and Will Allen is a 81, and he missed all of last year! Smith made great progress. I don't get it. Daniel Thomas is a 70 with an 83 in speed, ouch
Someone at EA definitely hates the Jets. Holmes is only an 87? Cotchery is a 83 speed LOL Ellis is a 90??? Why?? This is also the game where GHOLSTON WAS A BEAST ON LINE due to his ratings. Speed, acceleration, strength Our defense will be rated in the high 90s but its a bullshit number with how SLOOOWW our defense is in the game. No starter on the line is in the 70s in speed, Our fastest LB is a 79 and we only have 2 people in our secondary over a 90 speed. One broken tackle = TD Eric Smith is a 79 speed LMAO but hes a 80 something overall. I love how madden masks their ratings. Look hes a high overall but hes so slow he can't even cover half the quarterbacks if they went out for a pass!!!!!!!!!!:rofl:

EA Sports really sucks.. they just don't seem to give a shit about Madden anymore because they know people will buy it every year no matter what. The guy who does the ratings, Donny Moore, is a complete fucking idiot.. there are so many wrong ratings with the Jets and I'm sure every other team is no different.
The only rating on here I do not agree with is Shonn Greene's. 80 is too low for what he has done in the past. There are more ratings than just speed. As Madden continues to mature, speed is becoming less valuable. Back in 04, if you didn't have speed, then you were screwed. With all the new rating categories, speed is no longer as important.
Speed isn't as big as it used to be because of the acceleration rating but speed still plays a huge factor in the game.
damn there are some horrible ratings there. holmes route running 88? hell greene overall 80 one of my favorite was kerley spd at like 83 (they did give him like 95 acc tho) powell will be much better than those ratings but cant be suprised there kenrick ellis and wilkerson got booty overall but good str and power move dont remember the block shed either way some of the ratings are pretty absurd. thats why i usually edit some players within reason once i get the game, jets and non jets
We'll be able to edit inside franchise mode now so it's not as big a deal. Also, did anyone try to price match Toys 'R Us through Amazon's customer service? I've seen some people get extra credit or adjustments to their order but they also reject a ton of other people, including myself.
