XBox controls and controllers are funky and clunky. You don't mess with perfection, that's why Sony dumped the original controller idea and stuck with the classic.
It comes down to preference. I prefer XBOX 360. I like the controller and I like XBOX Live over PSN but it sucks that you have to pay for it. It's worth the $50 if you have the 360 though. It's a better online community, PS3 is great for Blu-Ray but as far as games it's your call. But for Madden, I think I like the way it feels playing with the 360 controller, but that's just me.
I have both, but most of my friends have the Xbox. They like the live system better, it's more user friendly to do things I think. To me I could care less, but stuff like voice chat and messaging seems more streamlined on the Xbox live system which is why they chose it and why I choose the Xbox version of Madden. Apparently there is still untapped potential in the PS3 hardware, has any game broken that barrier yet? I would think Madden would be damn close. When and if that happens the graphics are supposed to be night and day compared to the Xbox.
