it's downloading at like 100 k/s (took about 10 seconds to download 1 megabyte)....this is gonna take fuckin forever
Thats not why its gonna take longer. The graphical difference is gonna be completely insignificant Its going to take longer because EVERYONES downloading the ps3 one at the same time. Where as the xbox one came out early while most people were at work/school/sleeping/etc so it went alot faster.
Interesting. It must be an east coast thing. I just downloaded it in less than 15 minutes, installed and ready to roll....
right now im thinking sony is a bunch of assholes. not only making us wait this long but wtf is the point of getting this psn plus. you would think downloads would be fast like they said they would be
I just played my first game of Madden 11 and my first game of Madden on xbox ever. (just got the 360 s) Our pressure on d is crazy. All of our guys can cover, and our receivers are pretty tight, but Keller to me is gonna be my MVP each game. He is crazy. I played on Pro but come on I don't know the buttons or anything haha. I should have played on a harder level cuz I won 41-3.
Can't imagine why it would be slow figuring 100,000+ people are all downloading a 1.6 GB file all from a single source.

I was sharing the internet from my laptop to my ps3 (media server purposes, i have a ton of HD media that won't stream over wifi)...I switched back to wifi and the download is going MUCH faster.
your guys dl times are nothing... just popped mine in at 10:05, and after waiting for the time to stabilize, it settled out at 412 mins to go. Was as high as 438 and as low as 296, but looks like in just under 7 hours, or exactly 6 hours 52 minutes, I can play Madden. so I should be able to play around 6 am, I should be able to play yippeeee
yeah im just sounding dumb right now, just trying to scratch at anything lol. what sucks is you cant do anything while its downloading. it wouldnt be so bad if you were able to play games and still download shit. when are they going to make a patch for that?
