Madden 09...the BEST Madden I have ever played.

I forget which button it was but there was a way last year to pick your play without the other person knowing.

You picked your real play with one button then continued to scroll through the plays and pick a fake play with the other button. You just have to be smarter than the game :wink:

 

Man the running game sucks...I really need to get used to this.

 

No QB Vision Cone? Gay?

 

That makes me happy, I always hated that cone.

Getting the game after class tonight, I hope it's good.

 

Yeah so now when somebody is rolling to their left they can throw it perfectly across the field to the # WR running a fly in stride?

It at least made it realistic that when I'm looking left, I'm not throwing it perfect to the right.

Lame.

 

No precision passing either? This is Madden 02' for the QB...Throwing off your backfoot perfectly to the receiver.

 

Quick question for those with the game, do the Jets have the Titans alt unis?

 

Just bought my copy after work. I cannot freakin wait to get into this. But i promised the family home made Fajitas first.

 

I don't know what game you're playing Ecko, but passing is ridiculously hard for me.

 

this is the first Madden I've bought since 02, so I've never used the cone, but just because you're running left doesn't mean you are looking left. if you are moving your character left but looking at the receiver to your right, you clearly see him, so it just seems silly to have to direct the players eyes there when yours already are.

 

online isnt working. Everytime I try to sign in now, it freezes. First couple days are usually like this...

The cone was the worst "gadget" madden ever came out with. I'm glad they eliminated that filth.

I just got DC on by my opponent and I didnt even get the win. They better fix that.

 

I am having all kind of problems. I have had no online problems since I got my PS3, but for some reason since I got Madden I can't download the updates or play online. It is pissing me off BIG TIME.

 

all new sporting games have all sorts of problems online the first day or so. Give it time and they will have it patched. Work on your game offline, that way you can keep your precious record intact

to avoid confusion...i will be adding you guys to my buddy list. Im using a different name for Madden

Anyone miss a field goal but the game call it good? It just happened to me. I could not challenge it either. Replays clearly showed it was no good. haha.

 

Well I was playing PS2 version and am going to Gamestop in about a half-hour to get PS3 and PS3 Madden.

But passing with Clemens was fairly easy. Obviously some overthrown balls here or there, but nothing terrible.

Now running has been difficult thus far, although Leon hits the whole much quicker for obvious reasons.

 

I thought I was getting the game on Sunday (the 17th) for my birthday, but turns out I got it today

First thing I did was update my rosters. Then, I played the highly anticipated Week 1 matchup of Favre vs Chad. I won 23-15. I played on "My Skill" level, and had over 400 yards with Favre, but my run game was abs. pathetic.

I have to work on my run game, a lot.

Very fun game so far though I must say. At the moment, seems so much better than 08.
