I don't know if there's a way for you to reset games as commissioner, but I was playing EmZONE 85 and he quit and it gave me the win. He had just tied it at 7 halfway through the 3rd so I'm assuming it was an internet issue, not him quitting. I probably shouldn't get a win for that.
I do not see a way to "undo" a game that has been played. I have yet to receive a disconnect playing '09 but I've only played like 5 games online so far. For the people who got disconnected, do you have issues with other games as well or just madden? Unfortunately I cannot think of a good way to work around this issue. Ideas?
I had some connection issues at first but lately it's been fine. That really sucks if you can't undo the game though, it was a good one.
The only thing I could try doing is to delete you both from the league and have you rejoin. I don't know what the effect of that would be though.
I don't get how to schedule games. I'm in the league and I have my team but I can't find the option to actually play a game. Am I missing something?
Go to the standings page for the league, and highlight someone who is online. Then hit the "A" button and a list of options will come up. Pick "Invite to league game". I'll be on for a good amount of time starting now if anyone wants to play.
I hate this fucking game. After the fumble of the second half kickoff I was too angry to see. It's been doing this shit to me all day. That would have been a 3 point game if I scored that drive, and for some reason my returner decides to just let go of the ball for ho reason. Then I get penalties. They really should turn things like holding and facemasking off. I know it's realistic, but it's SO frustrating to have things like that affect the game that you can't even control.
I swear there's a fumble on the second half kickoff almost every time if you're the visiting team. I thought you were trying to just end the game when you took that knee - that's why I wasn't scoring there until you sent me the message.
I hear ya. I actually turned the game off earlier today when some f@g using the Dolphins by choice was smoking me and I fumbled the opening kickoff of the second half.
I don't mind fumbling if there is cause. Like if someone uses the hit stick in the open field or something, that's fine. It's when the guy is wrapped up and I'm holding RB to protect the ball and it falls out anyway that gets me. But, a win over the Raiders and I'm over it. I'll take 2-1.
Man after my 1st game I must say I'm loving my Roster. By no means perfect BUT boy oh boy the team only dropped 1 pass all day and Big Ben...they gave him more then enough to get the job done. fyi: It doesn't appear that you can sign free agents. Better start looking into a trade!
Off topic sort of. Not in the league, but I just had the worst loss ever, and it goes with what we were talking about. I was leading 14-10 midway through the 3rd, and the guy comes back to take a 24-14 lead. I get the ball and score with about a minute left and 2 timeouts, and for the first time in this year's game I get the onside kick back. I get to his 40 with no time outs, 4th and 9. I send my TE on a hot route, pick up a little more than the first down and get out of bounds with 3 seconds left, kick the FG and go to overtime. I win the toss and am all set to celebrate my best win yet. First play from scrimmage my RB drops the ball before he's even hit, and the guy gets it in FG range. Loss. Fumbles are the bane of my existence.
