2 questions In goal line situations are they going to introduce vaulting the pile? For me its one of the glaringly bad parts of the game , walking/running through a supposed impenetrable D line. Are the games on PS? and XBOX universal? ie; if I bought my game form the USA would it play on my UK console?
your first question. theyre changing the collision detection. powerful backs will be able to push their own blockers forward into the pile while a more agile back will have to make better reads. im sure it will be in there. im pretty sure ps3's arent universal. cuz i know motorstorm has its own UK release. they all code the games. sorry, but I'm pretty sure youll have to wait for a UK release. maybe im wrong but we'll see.
So I still won't be able to go airbourne The world is getting to be a smaller place so I expect that to be the case. Maybe I should just but a US console as well , all the games I play are Football , golf and Medal of honour type games anyway.
You mean jumping over the pile on the goal line? If that's the case, then they already have it in Madden 07.
Dude, they had jumping the pile last year. This year its going to be different, as the mid air collisions are actually going to be done properly
On Madden 07 (UK release) vaulting cannot be done. I'v just gone through the instruction book. Tell me different , how do you vault and I'll try it.
You just press the dive button near the goal line, and he should vault. Do a play like Goal Line HB Dive.
Ha Ha , tried it and he just dives at the feet. This is yet another reason why I might get my next console from the US. Formatting
the dive is when ur at the edge of the goalline by the pile on. If ur just running it straight into it u cant dive over the pile of players into the endzone.
So I'm not missing something then? I've looked in the manual and it doesn't mention anything on vaulting/jumping. WRs/RBs and D can jump for a tip ball or INT but no OTT stuff.
If you've got it for xbox1 ps2 then u won't have many of the good features i don't think. Mabey pc aswell
Last years game was horrible...HORRIBLE. I thank sega for putting some pressure on EA to bring out quality products again. I knew this would happen when EA got exclusive rights to nfl names...damn....oh well, the past is the past and I hope that EA gets it right this time.
Cool Vilma 08 cover! (just saved it) I recently bought A 360 just for madden 07. Ive been pretty dissapointed all around. Theyve even lost cool things they used to have in old madden games. The PS2 version on the other hand is alote of fun. I cant wait for 08, it sounds like theyve put alote of effort into this one, i havent seen a madden game this highly promoted in a long time. Im guna sell my 07 and reserve my 08. (i wanna check out Revis & Harris before the season starts.....)
yeah this game should be out soon i read some place that the download will be up on xbox live this week
