I've been on the Dump Macc & Bowles wagon for quite a while now, and still think they should go, especially Bowles, BUT...if Macc delivered Cousins, Barkley, and upgraded the OL and pass rush and receiving corps - a tall order but possible - I would say he earned his extension. Or if he got Rosen/Mayfield and Michel or someone equivalent, and again, upgraded the OL, pass rusher and WR, that would be a career-saver too. I don't expect him to do anything like this, but if he pulls it off I will get behind him.
