I’m an adopted Wazzu fan and have watched Falk play in college. Dude is a baller can take a hit and when he’s got a rhythm going homey throws darts. Hoping the coaching staff has a manageable game plan for him.

Excited to see him play. If he sucks ass and we are getting our doors blown off, I just switch to redzone

Let’s see how Falk does in the next two, three games. OL and Gase play calling has to do better to keep Brady and Jets defense off the field often.

    Falk has to improve 3 things;
    1) audible when recognizing blitz
    2) possession clock awareness
    3) roll out and throw when needed under pressure

He needs game time experience so we'll see where he s at in couple of weeks.

Browns defense is solid and has one of the better pass rushers in the game. There were some good moments Falk did but let’s not get too crazy he s the offensive genius yet. Pressure on Gase...

This is a game most of us penciled in as an L even with Sam under center and the euphoria of a new season in high gear.

If we win this game with 4 of our top players out and our 3rd string rookie QB, it will be beyond amazing. Our 'fire Gase now!' thread will be buried down to page 300 in about 5 minutes!

And then we'll lose our next game.

The last Luke I rooted for didn't seem like much at first. Then he blew up the death star and I was really impressed.

But not as impressed as I will be if this Luke blows up the Patriots. Feel the force Luke.

Agree with your three points. I thought Falk did pretty well overall...he has a live accurate arm.

Gase has been underwhelming with both his playcalls and the ability to adjust to what defenses are doing to stop it.

We already know where Luke Falk will be "at" in a few weeks...back on the bench...watching Sam play.

If he beats the Pats he deserves to be the starter...

So apparently the Jets have now cut Falk? WTF?

Even if Darnold returns in the next game (Week 5) who is the backup, Fales? In no way was what happened yesterday Falk's fault. Not trying to make him inot something great, he's not, but he's certainly a decent backup - better than Siemian for sure (I know, not saying much there). II'm certainly surprised.

I think the blog made an error.
They cut Fales earlier to make room for the WR.

That's what I was thinking, but haven't seen a correction yet. I hope you're right.
