Imagine if I'd have told you six months ago that the Patriots would acquire Wes Welker for a second round pick and Randy Moss for a fourth. You'd have rightfully questioned my grasp on reality. The NFL gets to warp all of the standard operating rules for business. You could point out that Welker's price was set by the qualifying offer he was given, but then you'd have to also concede that Randy Moss essentially set his own market price by limiting his market to one team. Imagine that - the product purposely capping his own market price. Just a strange, strange world in the NFL.
J MAc has to work on his hands. He tends to drop passes and the ones he makes he uses his chest instead of his hands. I like him, but he can look awkward at times catching the ball.
You don't realize that there were 2 main things involved to make these guys go for 4th rounders (which JMac didn't): 1- Salary 2- I'm not sure about Jackson. However, I KNOW Moss had the Raiders by the nuts. Either he was going to New England, or he was going to stay in Oakland and be a miserable prick. He dictated that whole trade, it was NE or nothing.
Let us not forget that JMac suffered under Camp Marshmallow while here. He actually improved last year when he had to fight to keep his job.
