most likely yes. maybe we can squeak out a win in one of those 6 games but we are 0-2 with 2 games against NE coming up and then dallas and philly. philly isn't that good though and we could win that one if sam is back. best case 1-5 worse case 0-6 to start the season. but we knew our 1st half schedule was brutal. after that we have the jags who lost their QB for the year and their star player is about to be traded, the fins who are just garbage, the giants who are garbage and just benched eli for a rookie people laughed at them drafting so high, and the redskins who knows who their QB will be but are also pretty bad outside of scary terry. we can level out fast and have momentum. only good team we face in the 2nd half is the ravens once

No secret Miami is tanking. The Giants are better with Jones than Eli. That's only 1 guaranteed win.

we don't know how jones will play. he's still a rookie. GW just completely confused the shit out of baker to where he looked like a deer in the headlights. I wouldn't expect jones to look better then what falk is going to look this weekend and bellichick hands him the business

so? 89 of it was a 5 yard route OBJ took 89 yards n his own partly thanks to maye whiffing. their average starting position was insane. they had 5 drives where they started at their own 40 or better including one where they started at our 40. and those 5 drives resulted in a punt, a turnover, and 2 FGs and 1 TD. We had 3 and outs all day long and couldn't mvoe the ball and negative passing yards in the 1st half. the fact they didn't put up 50 on us was because baker played so poorly. no to mention the insane mismatches in their favor of roberts/hairston against OBJ/landry. 2 scrub tier CBs against 2 pro bowl WRs

    Yeah...Baker looked pretty bad...and I like him.

I don't know what Kitchens was thinking having him throwing the ball after the OBJ td.

That's just dumb coaching...fat Leo coulda tripped and fell on Baker...

    Is that considered "hidden production"?

If by hidden, you mean the 30 year old four footer hidden under the fat sumo wrestler then yeah.

So those 89 yards don't count? Ok, got it now.
But having said that, I much prefer Darnold over Mayfield.

it counts obviously but it was an easy short throw to a wide open elite WR who had 84YAC. baker is a guy (and they highlighted this last night BTW but i said it before the draft) who is a 1 read type of guy. he's a system QB. he'll get the ball where it needs to go and fast if his 1st read is open. if it's not he doesn't do much. they showed last night his QB rating on throws that took over 2 seconds to develop was awful.

    Baker got exposed last night.

Those playcalls at the end were brutal...that's something we would do...

LOL........you really underestimate the Bills. Bills are a better team than the Jets........we have a better defense, better oline, better coaching and a QB that does make bonehead mistakes but is a playmaker.

Darnold is 4-10 as a starter......Allen is 8-5.......I'm confused why you think Buffalo is such an easy win for the Jets?

I'd be shocked if you guys don't get stomped by New England this weekend. You were down 16-0 to a "worse" Jets team and would have lost if Mosley didn't go down. Beat the Giants and squeaked a win out vs a terrible Cinci team. Your D is good, probably elite, but New England will most likely thrash you.

Your QB has more turnovers than TDs and has turned the ball over 6 times in 3 weeks...

maybe because we were up 16-0? or we lost by 1 point in a game where our QB had mono and our kicker cost us 4 points (missed an easy FG and an XP) jets should have won 20-17 if not for our kicker and that was with a QB who had no energy and couldn't sleep the night before due to illness. Plus mosely getting hurt is the only reason the bills put up 17 points. with a healthy sam, healthy mosely, and a kicker who can make a kick here and there the jets are a better team overall.

Using W-L records to compare QBs is dumb. Having said that, the Bills are better than the Jets, or at least the Jets when their best players are out. But they beat three teams, two of them in close games, who are a combined 1-8. And the one convincing win came before the Giants switched to Jones. The Bills could still sneak into the playoffs like they did a couple years ago, but they could also fall apart like they've done a few times in the past.

You say Buffalo has a better defense, better OL, and better coaching, then use W/L record to compare the two QBs.

No shit Allen has a better record as a starter.

You guys were up 16-0 due to the Bills making mistakes not the Jets outplaying Buffalo. You guys scored one offensive touchdown.........the other touchdown was a fluke and the safety was bs.

    #1 Our first drive.....fumble @ Jets 26
    #2 2nd drive.......int return for TD
#3 Fumble at the Jets 36 on 4th and 1
#4 Int that bounced of hands of a Bills player into Jets player hands @ Buf 48

Nothing but flukey plays contributed to a 16-0 lead.........we came back with 17 straight points and won the game. We should've won that game something like 26-8. That game should not even have been close IMO. Sign of a good team is overcoming those mistakes(Bills)........sign of a bad team is missing out on opportunities(Jets)

lol a pick 6 and a safety isn't a fluke. it's football. all you are pointing out is how bad your offense is at protecting the ball which makes a team bad.
