The front office. The GM/Owner/Coach are a massive part of the reason the Jets are where they are. I never said anything to dispute that. I said that people on the forum (and in general) would rather discuss what Rex said in an interview rather than discuss the actual football being played. It is exactly who Manish targets when he writes his "articles." I couldnt care less that Geno or Milliner think they're top 5 players. I'd rather discuss the X's and O's of the game, but again, that clearly isnt for everyone.
So I know Rex mentioned in the past that he looks at QB ratings, so I figured I'd take a look for each QB and see if they underperformed or outperformed their 2014 season average at QB rating vs the Jets. The only QB we slowed down was Rodgers. Cutler and Manning did about what they've been doing this year, while Brady, Stafford and Rivers outperformed their 2014 averages. Rodgers QB Rating: 117.3 Rating vs Jets: 109.8 Jay Cutler QB Rating: 94.4 Rating vs Jets: 94.7 Matthew Stafford: 87.9 Rating vs Jets: 116.4 Philip Rivers: 113.0 Rating vs Jets: 125.3 Peyton Manning: 118.2 Rating vs Jets: 117.9 Tom Brady: 96.3 Rating vs Jets: 103.5
Why does Rex get props for keeping us in these games? One could argue that his defense is the reason why the team isnt winning these games along with the offense as well.
