With the current level of play out of our inability to stop the run, this has a god chance of being true. I hope Mangini can work some magic with 2 weeks to prepare. We need it!!!
Nah, I'd rather a HC with the cutting edge fashion sense of Belicheck. Who care if he wins or not..
They can't, what denver did was have both a dominant run game and deep threats on offense, tough run stoppers on D, and excellent corners. Indy can't run, or stop the pass. Minny has a great run D but a weak secondary. Also you need Brady to have a bad game, he is improving as he gains experience with Gabriel, and the addition of Jackson helps too, even if he doesn't catch a thing he's still a deep threat that needs to be respected.
This hasn't been brought up enough. Brady is just now getting used to the timing of 3 new receivers and a fourth (Gaffney) most likely won't even factor into it yet. During the Denver game, they were like fish out of water. Not that this will guarantee any sort of win, but they are starting to get into a groove.
The Jets have to be at least 10 point dogs when this line opens, unless Brady gets decapitated next weekend. Jets can't run with the Pats right now, period.
I'd like to see us score points before being down in the 3rd quarter on two fluke plays. Then maybe we can start worrying about Brady.
