It's not all about size and speed though-- that RB Chris Henry is 230+ and ran a 4.3 and he didn't do a thing in college. It's about being a talented player. Askew just wasn't that talented, or he would have seen the field over Houston and Barlow- 2 very average backs. Don't worry about not giving him a chance.

One thing that I find that the Jets always do is cut players that we have and the next year look for the same exact player. I mean I know the nfl is a ever changing face but sometimes you got to look in your own back yard for answers. Imagine BJ, Houston, Leon, Michael Turner or maybe any running back we draft. That would be an exciting backfield but instead i feel they will look at Tony Hunt or Michael Bush which in essence is the same player. Except for they will be very young and have to learn the ropes before there productive.
