Oh, I completely agree. I wasn't trying to defend the stupidity of being suspended by failing a drug test. I'm just advocating for these guys to be able to use it more freely.

You're right though. As far as I know they rarely test players whom are not in the Substance Abuse program, so it shouldn't be hard for these guys to beat the tests if they do use. I believe they test players repeatedly once they enter the program, as a result of Richardson failing like 4 times before finally getting suspended.

He’s a disgrace to humanity. (as expected)

Even his own kin are dissing him hard. Wow!!!!!!

Nice to see drama to the POS Stealers.

    PS

Remember it’s a team sport. An aging kranky selfish RB can suck it. Once he gets his cheddah, y’all know he is Mo Wilk yo.....

I don't think he's a disgrace to humanity, but I don't want him either. La'veon bell's game is predicated on patience at the line and our OL is not compatible with that in any shape or form.

He doesn't fit with the line right now and I feel fine going into the year with Powell and Crowell. He's not worth the money either.

Disgrace to humanity? I'm not a fan of Le'Veon bell character, but that's a pretty harsh label.

I do agree though, it would be bad if the Jets traded for Le'veon.

Wouldn’t mind signing him as a free agent although it wouldn’t be the preferred route

Would help Sam a bunch and we would also need to invest in the Oline for both of them

That's Capitalism. He's hoping the Steelers tank without him so he can command a better contract.

At 14.5 million he is still the highest paid RB, what do you think he deserves to be paid?

I would look at him in the offseason for something along the lines of 3-4 years 15/16 per front loaded as hell so in year 4 we can get out from underneath it. I would not trade for him now.

Good for bell. I’m glad he’s giving them the finger. They kept franchise tagging him, they deserve it

They deserve it for taking advantage of NFL rules and giving him a high per year salary on the franchise tag?

Look I don't blame Bell in one respect for not wanting to come in till Week 10 since everyone and their grandmother figured the Steelers would overuse him this year but at least be straight with your teammates. All to a man believed he was coming in this week and all are ANGRY he's only thinking of himself with a good team that has a chance to win. I've never heard teammates bag on one of their own for holding out like this before, usually they're all blindly pro-player.

The only disgrace here is calling some one a disgrace to humanity for a business decision. The Steelers choose to tag him and he choose to not sign it as of yet which is completely with in his rights. Not sure why your being an asshole about it, but you are.

While it is a team game, the ra ra stuff only goes so far. Bell is protecting his body by not signing. Its going to hurt the Steelers and of course his teammates are angry that they will not have him around, but a he has to do what he believes is right by him first. I don't blame him one bit for taking the CBA rules to the max and sticking up Pittsburgh's ass.
