Seriously, when did Cro find balls? And what Eric Smith is right, even in Hard Knocks, it's obvious fights are so much a part of training camp that the coaches PLAN them, and it's just accepted, no one said a thing. Fights happen, it's just another angle the media can attack the Jets. The Defense and the Offense don't need to be a cohesive unit, it's when you have friction in the same unit, that's when shit starts becoming an issue, ie: Holmes and Hunter.
I'm pretty happy that these guys are fighting b/c after the season they just had, they should be pissed off. Good to see them hitting and glad RR had the guys run gassers.
Ryan's control of the team apparently is still an issue. That's my takeaway. No better nor worse than that. It is an issue, meaning it remains to be seen whether he has enough control, or not.
Yup and just under half the Jets fans here are doom & gloomers, so that makes sense. All I know is that this Jets team BADLY needs to play another team. Friday can't get here soon enough. They are using all their built up anger and passion against themselves right now. I think this year the Jets are going to be steamrolling teams early. I know that our team has a tough schedule to start but I'm predicting a 4-1, (3-2 at worst) beginning to the season and it only gets better from there. This offense vs defense thing is good and I think it will make each side play better throughout the year. Pittsburgh has plenty of their own problems, I think we'll take care of business there, but we may lose to 49ers and/or Houston. Houston is a big question mark. Some people are predicting them dominating, some are predicting similar to last year and some are predicting a slight fall off from last year. We shall see.
"At that point, Ryan called for wind sprints. Quarterback Tim Tebow made like Forrest Gump, winning each sprint by a wide margin." close enough
