    I agree, but everything we did on offense was supposed to complicate a dominant defense. That defense today lost us the game. That's flat out unacceptable for who we are and what we want to be.

    But that IS the SOJ. You believe in them, they lead you to believe they have turned a corner, and then they lose in baffling fashion.

    It's not just the losing, it's the way they lose. If Sanchez had played like a nervous rookie, okay. If there were a few bad calls against us that nudged momentum the other team's way, okay. That happens.

    But Sanchez was okay and made a couple of great throws. The big calls went our way. But the Jets supposedly elite defense was absolutely horrendous. Henne was hardly touched.

    Until the Jets snap out of this with a string of wins, preferably starting with three on the bounce before the bye, there is a danger of this being the SOJ once again.

    I just watched the game on Field Pass, so maybe I'm feeling over-emotional. I hope to feel different tomorrow.
