Box scores my butt!!! I watch the games this guy was invisible for long stretches/most of the season last year. Now another round of baloney articles about how good this guy is. About what a nightmare he is for opposing teams. What motivation does this guy have to improve when all these "professionals" telling him how good he is when clearly he's been stinkin' up the joint? He needs a good kick in the butt not more ego stroking. I wanna see it here in 2019. For $14.2 million I do mean I WANNA SEE IT WITH MY OWN TWO EYES. I'm putting away the magnifying glass here in 2019.

Haha. I actually like Leonard Williams, I think the thing that hurt him the most is getting that "best player in the draft" moniker. Looking at his scouting report they seem to praise him in a similar light as Quinnen as they said he can play any position on the defensive line. In reality, he is more of a run stopper (when he wants to be) and just is average at pass rush. He fell to us at 6 despite being thought of so highly by scouts. If he was picked outside of the top 10, I would have said the Jets did really well there. While we can fit him on this team, I don't think hes warranted any kind of "top pass rusher" money. If he comes out of the season improving to getting 5-6 sacks, I am in no way paying him anywhere near say what Aaron Donald makes. It really depends on the price.
I intentionally posted Gases quotes knowing exactly how the board would react. Gase has no reason to blow smoke up anyone's ass regarding Leo. He's a holdover from the former regime,on a one year deal, with no ties to the GM or coaching staff. Yet he said he was the focus of his game plan vs the Jets when ever he faced us and he still couldn't contain him. Leo sucks.....

Leo looks great, simply awesome. I root for him to have a superb year for us, and with big Q at his side a deadly duo for years to come. Just for the record I don't care which regime or GM drafted or brought players in. Obviously not one of the top players with us with the exception of Khalil is actually a Gase or Douglas man perse. But that doesn't mean two shits in the decision making process. Our GM and HC are both smart football guys that will do what is best for this team, retain talent whenever feasible, develop a culture of winning and continue to improve the weak areas. We have football savvy guys at the helm for a freaking change. Whatever decision they make will be in my view much more football sound than in years past.
