    I agree.

Until we get down to the overused and overblown "generational talent" invented recently

    I respect your opinion, however
you named 2 players out of a possible 190 ( top 10 picks who are future HOFers since Seymour was drafted )
I stand by my statement that it's impossible for every top 10 pick to become a ROY, perennial all pro, HOFer. Expecting, demanding it is foolish. It's impossible to build a roster made up of entirely HOF caliber players, you don't cut a player because he's not a generational player. You need a core of above average players to compliment that generational talent or you win nothing.
We will have to agree to disagree, at least 50%....

There are literally a boat load full of top 10 picks who make it to both the pro bowl and all pro. 2017 was two years ago. Pat Mahomes and Watson were about as game changing as it gets. Last year 3 rookies were huge impact players who went to the pro-bowl. Barkley, Ward and Nelson.

There are certainly going to be plenty of HOF players who were drafted post Richard Seymour who were absolute game changers.

The more I have this conversation the more I think Williams was a shit pick.

I'm gonna enjoy when Quinnen shows Leonard what tenacity means.

I don't think that the intent to make Tebow a "wildcat guy" was at all inconsistent with bringing him in to sell PSLs.

Hess was emphatic that he was an old man and was tired of waiting for a winner when he brought in Kotite who he had a prior relationship with. Carroll was just the guy who happened to be there at the time and had a lousy rookie season; it could just as easily been a Parcells or a Payton that got pushed out because the old man was convinced Kotite was god.

Moving the goal post now too?
The argument is, every player drafted top 10 should be ROY, perennial All Pro, pro bowl doesn't count per the original debate. Williams was on the all rookie team, and pro bowl all ready.
Let's not forget that the debate also includes the argument that 100% of those players drafted are able to carry their team to a Super Bowl right away. If not by year 4, they should be cut.

Again, I dont think that he thought Kotite was god, I do think he thought Kotite gave them a better chance than the immature Carrol, who had lost control of his team and lost 5 straight to give us a losing season. Also, people tend to forget, we all do, that Kotite was pretty successful in Philly. He followed fan favorites Buddy Ryans team, one that BR never won a playoff game with and won 10 and then 11 games in those 1st two years. Won a playoff game along the way. And before that he was a good OC under Walton. He turned out to be the worst HC ever, easily Hess's biggest mistake but there at least was some reason why involved. Plus I believe he knew his end was near, he hired Parcells two years later and told Parcells he was dying, hurry up and win for me so....

I think C.J. Mosley was the most important offseason acquisition for that very reason. That defense needed someone who is not afraid to get into the faces of guys like Leonard Williams when they are out there floating

Screwey part is no one ever says that Leo Williams is out there floating except those who have no idea what game their watching. The same kind that imagine CJ Mosley is the type who would and will get in the face of anyone on the field.

You really have to try hard to make up and believe this total nonsense

Explaining what happened and looking at the facts at the time as opposed of saying something nonsensical and off the mark like I defended anything is just another example of why you're such a ridiculous bad poster who really seems to be dim. At best.

Is there anything that you read and can actually comprehend what you're attempting to read?

I found it odd that Mangini said Revis would play football for free.
