Exactly .. times have changed. IMO, the first boom were the days of the paparazzi, the second boom was the introduction of camera equipped cell phones as a must have accessory for ages 11-111, the third boom was the creation of social media. The fourth boom will either wipe out most of the league or help in molding better men lol.
No hitting on chicks is still legit, creeping is when it is unreciprocated but it seems it was an ex in lees case anyways and not creeping just being a drunk arsehole.

I came here to completely overreact over a drunken tweeted account of a couple of kids at a party where a drunk girl got upset with a drunk guy and nothing else happened. I'm glad you guys beat me to it. <sigh /> Until the girl presses charges or it's confirmed Lee did anything seriously wrong here, maybe you guys should all keep your judgement in your pants until we hear what actually happened.
She done him wrong and he wuz just looking to slap some sense into her. 2 game suspension taking into account the earlier incident/fight with a woman in a bar. Leo saved him from a lot worse.
Lee has alot of growing up to do. Anyone who has followed his tweets can see that.He has a chip on his shoulder & his mouth can get him in trouble. Thankfully LW was there to be a good leader. Will be interesting to see if there is more to this story & if there are any reprecussions

Williams is truly a man amongst boys on this Jets team, he will probably get out of this organization as soon as he has an opportunity to do so. He's the type of player you build around, teams see this and they will be more than happy to bring in a man and player of his caliber. It's not a matter of Lee growing up, he should know better than to put his hands on a woman. If I were the jets I would be looking to get him off my team asap, if it's true he was physical with her.

It's not laughable, the NFL has a personal conduct policy. I hope none of what happened is true, obviously something did happen and if the account is true then Goodell will enforce the policy and Lee might have to miss some games. The other issue is LW intervening and getting Lee out of there, if it was such an unreliable account, LW would have never gotten involved. Social media is not the enemy, its people's poor behavior, the difference is now they get caught. No different than when a bad cop gets caught violating people's civil rights, or a neighbor is caught stealing packages from his neighbors front steps. It's not the camera that's the problem, it's people and always has been.

Lee was probably drinking ( it's the offseason ) and emotions were involved. When everything comes out, When/If Lee misses games, This is becomes a problem and we can talk about how much of a jerk he is. Until then lets stop crucifying him for being a kid, This was supposed to be posted as a feel good story for LW. Did Lee screw up? Sure, don't get blasted you're a public figure. Was it bad? No it wasn't because LW was a man about the situation and took care of a teammate that was ready to make a mistake. Edit: Just checked the guys posts were all 12pm EST,.. So I'm sure he was sober too and has 100% accurate assessment of the situation.
I don't know.i think it's fair to raise an eyebrow towards lee since it isn't a far stretch to assume things would have gotten worse if Williams wasn't there/didn't step in. He doesn't get a pass because he was drinking either. This is now 2 incidents involving lee and a bar and physical confrontation. Sure the 2 of them individually may be small things but they are starting to add up now. Concern is definitely warranted
Certainly an eyebrow is a fair reaction,. Pitchforks and Burn this kid at the stake is not. Just because he's in the NFL doesn't mean he's Guilty until proven innocent. If I know girls his age, they probably spent the next day resting off a hangover together someplace like nothing happened. Hopefully he learns something from this situation that his actions are far more visible than others and he needs to be more careful.
