OH man that's classic! Calling someone out but instead drawing attention to the error of your own ways. "Retart"- when you make a batch of delicious pastries, decide that they are overcooked and opt to start again from scratch.
does jerry glanville still leave 2 tix for elvis? i didnt know he was the DC out there! great post just for spreading the knowledge....
GOD FORBID HE HAS TO ENJOY A TROPICAL PARADISE!!!!!! with direct tv, and the suday ticket, anywhere that you dot have to endure the cold is a plus.....although with the whole rising sea level deal he might be S.O.L. with living out there....may want to live on higher ground pal...
You must be pretty good if Reggie Bush takes notice. In an ESPN online chat last December, Bush, USC's Heisman Trophy winner, was asked who was the best player he played against in college? His response: "The guy that sticks out is No. 42, the safety from Hawaii. He was just everywhere, involved in everything. I don't know his name {Leonard Peters} but he was fast and he was a great player and everytime I got tackled, he was there." How's that for a scouting report? hmy:
...sounds like our version of steve tasker-'special teams legend'...i like it. excuse the little abc's, the shift keys suck on my backup keyboard...
No man, he wasn't leaving tix for the King over here. I guess that was just for the pros. Unfortunately he left this year to take a gig at a smaller school (can't remember off the top of my head where he went).
I'm a bit late for this but I just saw some vid clips on this guy and I am very impressed with him not only from a playing standpoint but also for a personality/values standpoint as well. I'm already rooting for this guy to make the squad. K. Rhodes and L. Peters could hopefully turn out to be a great Safety tandem for the Jets.
Does Leonard Peters = Victor Green? Say what? I remember when the Jets signed Victor Green as a UDFA from Akron .. Victor Who?!?! ... that guy who went undrafted because he ran in the 4.6's .. what was the point? Well here was the point, he was a ferocious hitter with great instincts, much like Rodney Harrison, so speed was not an issue as he promptly became the NY Jets starting SS and didn't give it back till he was over-the-hill I Got a feeling about this LP, this man is an old-fashioned kick-@$$ football player and I wouldn't be so quick to count him out because he's a UDFA or because he runs a 4.6 .. sometimes you gotta put down the stopwatch and believe your eyes, or as Parcells likes to say, GO BY WHAT YOU SEE, and if you're looking at Leonard Peters and you're not seeing a "take no prisoners" football player, shades of Victor Green, I'm afraid we're not looking at the same thing http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TL91j6OHGvk CB Darelle Revis FS Kerry Rhodes SS Leonard Peters CB Andre Dyson Could be?
The question is, was he the one making the tackle, or was he "there", in the stadium, watching at the time?
Hey, you can never have too many long haired guys that look like they could have been in the band Winger....
Here he is guys, the black haired dude in the back, this is Peters...formerly part of Winger... www.sleazeroxx.com/bands/winger/winger1.jpg
After watching the Youtube video, he reminds me of the LB in the replacements played by Jon Favereau, Danny Bateman.. Remember- Danny!! Get me the ball, ok? Get me the Ball!! Are you gunna get me the ball.... Replace Danny with Leonard and thats what you have. A psychotic animal on the football field with an eye for the ball. If he doesnt start he'll go to the pro bowl as a special teams specialist like Larry Izzo
