Leon gave us some excitement during some otherwise depressing times, and for that I am grateful. That being said, I root for the uniform more than the players, and I am excited to see what McKnight can do.
He will never hurt us being in Seattle and most likely we will see that he never makes it all the way back..from afar.
You'd be surprised how many "fans" on this site subconsciously hope Leon scores the winning TD against us in a Superbowl someday just so they can tell us "I told you so..."
2nd and 6. The jets line up Braylon and Holmes out wide with Keller at TE. The 'terminator' and Greene stand behind Sanchez and a 330 pound road grader rookie lineman. run or pass? it almost doesn't matter. 1st down jets!!!! There...losing leon doesn't seem so bad.
My favorite Leon moment will be the screen pass in Miami in the 4th quarter of that night game that he took for like 80+ yards
Leon is an explosive player and as A Fin fan and UF grad, I won't miss him in the AFC east. He was that one player on the Jets offense that I loathed going up against(before the Braylon trade), because of his speed, agility and the mismatches he created with our slower Lb's (see former Fin, Akin Ayodele). The fins Lb's are happy about this trade I'm sure, but if McKnight bulks up and feeds into this sh*t Rex Ryan is feeding his players, he might be able to step right in where Leon left off before the injury. But then again....he better lower his pads in the AFC east or someone is going to run through him like Casper:smile:
Mr. T made the best trade of the offseason and the worst, that has to be a first. Anyone who thinks this was a smart decision is out of their minds.
Seems like we didn't get equivalent talent. Best of luck to Leon - one of my favorite Jets, I hope he fully recovers and goes on to have a great season.
Lol, we gave away an explosive playmaker for nothing in a year that we are primed to win a SB, yeah smart move guys.
God you again.... I am sure Channing Crowder is pumped to see him go so he won't get humiliated on national television. It's OK we still have Edwards, Holmes, Cotch (who I am sure you think is overrated), Keller, Greene, and LT. More than enough for your D to worry about.
I decided that every time you write stupid, trollish, or just so annoying to me that I feel I must reply, I am only going to post this
What was the outcome of that game? Maybe if that hit was worth 7 points, then maybe things would've been a different. To your earlier post, Cotchery is probably the 2nd best WR you have on your team behind Holmes considering he has hands of glue. So...
Leon missed a lot of time in his college career due to injuries (shoulder, elbow, ankle, hip...). There's a reason why he went in the 4th round. He's just been very fortunate in the NFL not to have any major injuries until he broke his leg. This is why he should've taken the deal... Bad advice from Keels and now who knows? I like LW a lot though, but I also understand why he's gone.
