Basically Williams is saying he is the Revis/Dion Sanders of the D line. So becasue of his talent teams run away from him every down and or double team him therefore gets 0 stats. 0? I dont know about that...doesnt he move around...left side right side? I just watched the Rams game and that dude Donald was destroying double teams, tackling, sacking etc. So Leo is so much better than Donald that teams avoid him more than they avoid Donald?
I don't buy it. That type of respect is reserved for players who've earned it. Leonard Williams hasn't done anything in this league. When has he taken over/dominated/wrecked a game? When has he proven to be a monster pass rusher? He was getting blocked man-to-man against Cleveland and getting stonewalled why would Cleveland then send two or three guys at him? It defies logic. Bowles & Williams are making up stuff.
BUMP...i made this post last year. More players to add to this list that are better then leo. Im tired of the excuse that he gets doubled. Dude has not been a impact player since 2016. Im done with him. Sadly. the jets will draft another DT in the first round again to replace this looser because he was "Best Player In the Draft"
Should have drafted Allen last yr. Instead we got bowling ball with razor blades 2.0. the Jets are still chasing that Warren Sapp blunder. Leo will be gone and that roided cannuck will be gone too. With the 6th pick in the 2020 draft, the Jets select the next 300lb pass rusher who will collapse the pocket....bullshit
