Is is just me, or hasn't Leinart been getting any love lately? It seems to me that we should do whatever we can (within reason) to secure his services. ie. our two first rounders A franchise QB is the first step in securing the future and he is it!
If he falls to 4 ill take him. I think he will fall to 4 because i see the titans takin Young over Lienart and New Orleans might sign Brees. If they do that I think they could take D Brick to make their Oline better or go D and draft AJ Hawk.
Yes, I mean the one we're gonna get for abe... and then we can use the rest of this DEEP draft to shore up the line. With all the comp picks, we have something in the area of 10+ picks. I really think Leinart is the real deal.
I wouldn't mind at all if we moved up to draft Leinart. This guy has what it takes to be a great NFL qb, I don't see any reason why not to move up.
I think the price to move up to number 1 is too much and if we did that we can't pass up on Bush anyway. Trading up to number two at the moment is also probably too much because New Orleans needs a QB and therefore the pick has major value for them. However if New Orleans somehow lands Brees the value of that pick for them drops and then trading to that spot to draft Leinart is a possibility. It all depends on how much they would have to give up but I would be thrilled to land him somehow in this draft.
I hope NO lands either Brees or even Culpepper who they have expressed strong interest towards I heard. We will Deff. draft Leinart at that point.
If they get Brees they wont draft a QB. Which will leave us with Young or Leinart which ever one falls to us. I beleive Leinart would fall to us because the Titans would wanna draft a QB who is more like Steve Mcnair. That QB would be Young.
Y not take a QB who ran a typical college shotgun offense and scored a six on the wonderlic. Y not pick a QB who was a mid first b4 the rose bowl (SARCASM)
Have u seen Young play, he played in a typical college offense. He went in the shotgun and read the lb's. If they played up he dinked it over there head, if they dropped back he ran. He ran a dink and dunk offense in the NCAA
