I think he is showing their importance as in 11 out of 32 weeks a CB won defensive player of the week in one conference or the other. It wasn't CB of the week but defensive player of the week.
He got burned alot. Thats bad enough but the ensuing penalties because he was pissed off for getting burned hurt worse.
I knew that, but Im trying to see why the argument is there in terms of the discussion of bringing in Law on a trial for either dime CB or as backup/stopgap at the FS position?
Because there is no way that Law would accept. He will expect to be a starter, and he will expect to be paid as if he's a top 5 CB. Dime? Backup?
I was going nowhere with that. I was simply noting several cornerbacks who had such great individual efforts that they received defensive player of the week awards. That post was an aside.
