The title doesn't imply anything unless you chose to ignore the "always updated" part. And the first post also tells you exactly what this thread is/was about. It's amazing how somebody would complain about this.
Per Rotoworld Jets release ILB Joe Mays & S Durrell Eskridge http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/4943/joe-mays
So far I've missed on Mays and Babin... Wonder if Taiwan Jones will actually make the roster? More likely he goes to the PS and the Jets hang on to Walls.
So far: - ILB Mays - RB Richardson - DE J. Williams - OLB Babin - FB Howsare - S Eskridge - TE Lynch Sitting at 69 players currently. 16 to go. Babin is a surprise move, but I like it because that probably means Reilly made it. The Mays one I don't like.
Babin might be slightly better as a pass rusher but Reilly makes half his salary, he's 8 years younger, plays special teams. I'll take him over Babin.
yeah true regarding age, salary, and specials.. but i don't see Reilly as a DE, or as a pass rusher at all. thought Babin would make it as he might be the only one on our roster who can provide an edge rush. and with Pace and Mauldin both a little banged up, thought we'd retain 5 OLB's.
Not that I am too fond of him as a reporter but Cimini's read is that letting Babin walk means BOTH Pace and Mauldin are healthy
