Hopefully if we can move d-rob we can get something decent in return for him, and we can go out and make one more good-sized move before the draft...

What's up Jet fans! I came over to see what you guys were hearing on Robertson. It appears much the same. I just wanted to add that the Broncos do NOT have a 3rd round draft pick this year.

I just saw John Clayton is not painting as rosy of a picture regarding the trade:

    Robertson trade unraveling?

Dewayne Robertson | Jets | Interested: Broncos?
Trade talks between the Broncos and Jets continue for Robertson, but don't expect something to happen soon, writes John Clayton.
It would require a late draft choice to get the deal done with the Jets, but the Broncos would have to work out a new contract for Robertson before the trade happens. As of Monday, things were growing more apart than together.
The Jets are trying to deal Robertson, who carries an $11.2 million cap number and is a poor fit for their 3-4 scheme. Robertson is scheduled to make $9.8 million in 2008 and is signed through 2009. The 26-year-old defensive tackle produced only 14.5 sacks in five seasons, but many scouts and personnel people believe Robertson could thrive in the right 4-3 system.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure most of us would just be happy to take a 4th for Robertson at this point. I'm sure he'll do well in the right type of system, and he wasn't half bad in the 3-4 last year, but he's just not a fit for this team.

*******Word is Dewayne Robertson went in for a physical this past weekend and trade talks are still going on which leads me to believe that Robertson had a good physical and he will probably be out of here with in the next week.
