I was ambivalent. Of course winning is nice and getting a td is a great thing (though not by 1st offense), I kept thinking about the media coverage if tebow had done it again. I would rather Mark be the clear starter even if we didn't get a td all preseason.
No doubt. Can you imagine the BS that would be flying around if Tim had gotten a TD or worse yet, 2. Maybe one to Hill and one by running it in from 20 yards out. The media would NOT shut up. Go Jets!
Well said. Thank you. I didn't want him to score because it would have fueled the fire regarding the absurd Sanchez vs. Tebow controversy. The outcome of the game had zero meaning. Sanchez is our only hope. If he doesn't play well, put McElroy in there and see if he has NFL talent.
