True. If this group of players and management moved to LA and started over, could you imagine a similar result like the 2000 Ravens? Conversely, do you think a new ownership group would be as bad here in NYC as the one presently running the Browns? Since Woody is in debt up to his eyeballs with the Big Grey Box, he can't really move anywhere so this is all just offseason chatter. Even if he could move, do you really think the Maras would let him out of the lease without one helluva court fight..?

Are U forgetting that the NYJs are no longer leasers but OWN 50% of the stadium? So now it is a asset not a liability that it was when the NYJs paid the NYGs $$$$$ to lease old Giant stadium

I was so happy to watch Xanadu get eaten by little robotic locusts in The Day the Earth Stood Still.

I kept looking out my window hoping it was gone. Alas, that kindergarten colored abomination still exists. And our Illustrious governor is putting $50 mil of our state tax dollars to help fund its revival. But I digress...

thank you Champ. I thought Woody was still on the hook for paying was it half for the stadium? Would he have to pay up first before any contemplated move kinda like a really big assed mortgage?

Most probably he would sell his 1/2 to Donald Trump or more likely the NYGs

Also he is on the hook for very little since 60,000 PSLs @ average 3K each helps him considerably:smile:

The NFL would probably never approve Trump but I would love him..another Steinbrenner, Cuban type owner..hopefully not another Snyder but Trump surrounds himself with smart people so I doubt he would be.

Oh, and it was a lot more than 60000 * 3k for those PSLs.

If the stadium would collapse for some reason, What would happen to the PSL of season ticket holders for both Jets and Giants?? Would they lose all of that money??

This would be something interesting to look into. Not just for Metlife but any stadium with PSL and there are alot.

It's sort of a large, gray concrete box that's laid out like a maze for lab rats on the inside. This season, along with the usual throngs of rowdy, drunken Jets fans, insultingly overpriced ''food'' and ''beer'' stands and piss-drenched bathrooms, you should also expect to find large prayer circles forming in the hallways before each Jets possession.

Sorry to say Cman were talking of the stadium not the team. I agree with U that Trump will never be let in due to the USFL thingy

Nah the UD is 27,000 seats so minus that from the total & U get the amount of PSL seats. I just picked a average if you want to try to find the exact amount that the PSL generated please be my guest

that's sad considering the USFL had alot more going for it than the XFL (He Hate Me) did.

Place is antiseptic hole that has zero charm. Would love nothing more than to see it perish in flames. Maybe then we could move back to NY and not listen to the arrogant Giant fams say will only refer to it as "Giants Stadium".

Are those assholes so insecure that they have to constantly try to project an air of superiority?
