RIP man I loved everything you did from The Wire to Fringe to the Resident Evil series. It really sucks that we lost the one guy that could play that kind of role well.
He was good in the John Wick movies and great in the Bosch series. In Bosch he played the Chief of Police like a caged angry tiger....
He was just very good at playing the tightly wound authority figure with sharp edges. I really think he was a fairly unique actor in that way and it will be very hard to replace him in the roles he was playing. I think the Resident Evil series probably just died because he was one of the key figures in keeping it interesting. Maybe they can talk Milla Jovovich into making a major appearance and stoking the interest in that way. There's a hard edge in that series and he was a lot of it.
