Yep, a bullshit deadline that will cost 1 week of preseason revenue ($200mil per week) for every week they lose. That $96mil (players share) will come off the cap each week. As far as all the NEW stuff put in, they said this morning that it wasn't as big a deal after they actually saw the deal. In fact is was revenue sharing, which has nothing to do with the the players money, and De had no interest in. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...prised-about-new-revenue-sharing-arrangement/ De Smith shouldn’t be surprised about new revenue sharing arrangement It was surprising because no one knew the NFL was considering a new supplemental revenue sharing plan. Even more surprising was the concern expressed by NFLPA* executive director DeMaurice Smith in his e-mail to the player representatives regarding the owners’ supplemental revenue sharing plan. “As you may have heard,” Smith wrote, “they apparently approved a supplemental revenue sharing proposal. Obviously, we have not been a part of those discussions.” The NFLPA* hasn’t been part of those discussions regarding that issue because the NFLPA* showed no interest in that issue. All along, the elephant in the room was the league’s effort to fix revenue disparities by taking money back from the players. For reasons still unknown, the NFLPA* never pushed that issue. So while there may be plenty of reasons to balk about the misguided power play that the owners have tried to pull, complaining about an issue about which the players previously didn’t care badly misses the mark. I still believe there is someone (Kessler?) who does not want this thing to go through. They knew last week the owners were gonna vote on a new CBA. The players could have beaten them to the punch and agreed to one on Wednesday.
Have you people ever been in a negotiation before? It sounds you people are just 40 hour a week, collecting W2's people... In a negotiation, you agree to terms and usually sign a document... When signing off on the terms of an agreement, if the agreed apart sections CHANGE, then wouldn't you be pissed off and want to analyze the changes? People get dumber when I leave the BS sub forum and venture to the other parts of this site.
He did contribute a very nice photo of nick cage who is perhaps the best actor of all time other than Emilio Estevez.
You get more worthless with every post. If the intelligence level here doesn't meet your standards...then get the fuck out. Considering you have the IQ of a pack of crayons, you shouldn't get too emotionally invested then.
You would be totally cool with this if she died smothered in ketchup. Put on your Yarmulke and gfy. lol
Yeah, I state my opinion yesterday, while angry, but attack no one on this board, only the NFL and NFLPA. Then I get personally attacked by various members, mods included, then only I get warned. Funny how that works. No surprise as I've seen it happen various times before here.
Not going to take the bait, even though you just called me illiterate. Maybe rules on this board are different than others I post on. Straight up insults are allowed but jokes about Wrestling aren't. Anyway, I tried to drop it awhile ago. Earlier today when I responded to you, then my next post "Seriously.." I had stopped there and then others started up again. Not here to troll or attack anyone. I was and am angry with the state of the NFL and other posters slammed me for being angry. Whatever.
I pointed out the fact that you misspelled DeMaurice Smith's name and to stop embarrassing yourself by freaking out. If that's an attack, then maybe the internet isn't for you.
Anyway...I'm going to lock this thread and start anew. Considering this thread went a tad off the rails.
