I think the players side is busy parsing through the owner's proposal and needs time to do it. Having a funeral is great to fill the time as it basically forces everyone to shut up and not whine for at least a few hours. We will hear plenty when they player's reps finish reading the proposal. /insert inappropriate death timing joke here
No games have been missed yet... People gotta relax... As I have said before no one wants to lose preseason games since both sides lose money...
The hall of fame game is complete garbage. I'm talking about games that are apart of season tickets...The home games of the preseason. Those are the games that matter to both sides. They will have a deal before losing preseason games...
DeAntoine Smithson better hide his kids and hide his wife, because this thing is pissing people off! I bet he never even met Myra Kraft. I mean look at him! He doesn't even look upset!
lol @ everyone telling me to shut up then ranting about the same shit im ranting about guess who was in the right? I was now somebody hit MY music
Seriously, so sick of the players saying "we have no timeline, we wont be rushed!" basically saying "we don't care if we miss games, f you fans"
Why are we upset at the players again? Because they want to make sure what they asked for is in the agreement?
Because they are holding it up over bullshit. Its widely said that the main shit is agreed upon. As said on ESPN last night.. its like buying a brand new 100K car and bitching about the floor mats
well...to be clear, the fans were getting the "fuck you" from both sides as soon as the lockout began. I'm used to the treatment. My beef is that you're THIS close to getting a deal done....quit fucking around with the bullshit little arguments.
Shut the fuck up. Self-felating is definitely not attractive. I don't have any Boy George on my hard drive.
Do we really know what they're holding it up for? I see no problem in making sure everything is in place, and reading the details owners may have slipped in without just GET IT DONE I WANT FOOTBALL. The owners could have given them the worst deal and you'd still want the players to sign off. Give it time.
So they should be saying "Sure, I'll vote to approve this 400 page document that will form our collective agreement for a decade even though most of the 1900 of us haven't seen it yet". Seriously...
