Actually meant to say Wilson instead of Wilpon. It appears I'm getting my shitty owners mixed up.

Also, Jerry Richardson is probably leading the charge.

NFL owners are some of the most retarded business owners in the world... partly thanks to natural talent (lack of, ala Mike Brown) partly thanks to senility.

I agree with this if you are talking in terms of revenue sharing. The big market teams would love to rush right through it at this point if it meant leaving the small market teams in the lurch.

In fairness Brown and Wilson were the only one with the foresight to see the last cba was a bad deal for the owners.

Granted it's because of owning small market teams but they easily get away with saying 'i told you so' to the rest of the owners.

Gave too much money to the players.I'm pretty sure that's why the owners opted out of the last CBA.

Not a big fan of 16 Thursday night games a year although it will mean more football to watch.

It means the NFL will have a consensus of sorts among owners coming out of here today, and going back into talks with the players.

League owners are expected to go back into meeting at 1:30 pm CT, but only "for a couple more hours'' after that. That's good news, fans.

Still relatively early, but we're hearing there is so far no significant dissent being voiced today regarding direction of CBA talks.

I like the 16-game Thursday schedule. More football is fine with me.

I could care less about how they split the money. Just get it done.

You're not a big fan of watching lots of football? I don't get it.

Totally agree. After a few months of this garbage, I begin to feel like the fans during the Bad News Bears movie. I don't care who locked out whom, or which side went out on strike...

Look at his location. 16 Thursday night games means probably two Jets games a season played at 2am on a Friday morning for Ten; not conducive to holding down a job!

I did. I moved to North America just so I could watch football at the proper time.
