I had a strong feeling we were going to take him as soon as NE picked. I love the pick, and anyone that remembers the Colts game should realize that CB was still a need.

 

This is it.

 

Best Player Available. Live it and love it folks. Holmgren was considering him at pick SEVEN. PICK SEVEN. And we got him at 29.

He is a underrated return man too and as a 3rd CB possibly grooming to be the 2nd CB, this was a sick pick.

 

Mike Tannenbaum said he talked to Ozzie Newsome right after he hired Rex Ryan.

Value. Wilson is an awesome pick. I dare the league to throw on us next year. Add the KR value, and its the best player u could have at 29.

 

I don't know about getting another corner, but I will say this - are defense is going to be filthy. We will be able to blitz all day long with these three corners covering.

It was a surprising pick, but it seems like an okay idea.

However, we DO need a DT and thats something I'm worried about.

 

I say lets make him a safety... they say he's a Polamalu type so lets do it... we need a safety more than a CB anyway...

 

That's a good pickup to help out our secondary.

FUCKING AWESOME!!!! No way did I think that Wilson would drop to us. I didn't care between Wilson or Kindle as long as it was one of the 2 I was happy. We easily have the most dangerous secondary in maybe the past decade with this pick. Having Lowery at #4/S will benefit this team wayyyy more than any pass rusher would. Plus I guarantee round 2 will be DL.

 

Immediate benefit, he's an electric punt returner. Something this team hasn't had in...well, I can't remember the last one. As many times as we will force punts, this kid will have his legs run off.
