when he got that sack he really just went right through the olineman. just right through him and then slammed edwards so hard
ne 1 ever notice that everytime jenkins gets a penalty called on him, the following play he comes up with a big stop. He has the ability to beat anyone who is lined in front of him
I couldn't disagree more. Our Defense totally outplayed the buffalo offense, our D-line and CB's were more physical. Considering our D only gave up 7 points and made M. Lynch on no-factor, I consider this win a complete win
Haynesworth is an absolute ANIMAL. Only thing is...Jenkins plays a much tougher position which requires CONSTANT double teams right at him. Rodgers is a great player but still can be very inconsistent.
Our D is swiss cheese when Jenkins isn't on the field. Without him they never would've dominated they way they did today.
Actually the D played well when he was substituted out for example on CJ Mosely's sack, I believe he sat that play out....... I will rewatch that. Anyway back on topic Jenkins is the playing at the highest level of any 3-4 NT in the league. He is playing better then any of the big names. I do want to say Casey Hampton is run stopping beast for Pittsburgh but is not the complete player that Jenkins is.
You're right, today it wasn't that bad. But in the rest of our games this season we were awful when he wasn't in. Maybe they figured out how to spell him without collapsing?
It was a trade champ...and I know you agree..what a trade. Its been a long time since we have seen a person dominate a game on the defensive side of the ball. This guy, along with Washington...they are the mvps this year.
Gotcha........I also want to add that it seems he is rounding into shape in more ways then one. He is getting subbed out less. I mean he was in there a ton more then the first few games, for example in Miami where he was gassed, he missed large parts of the 3rd and 4th quarters. We all understand a guy that size can not be in every play but the less he is out the better.
What a difference one guy can make to a defense. Jenks may go down as one of the better trades the Jets have ever made.
