People keep forgetting the Minnesota game...and the Lions game. I think he'd make that kick to save his job. If he missed in OT aswell and we ended up losing, I could see him being cut after a four-miss game.
Folk makes 2 big kicks last week to tie and win the game. He's everybody's hero. Misses 2 long FG's into the wind, scoffs one off the upright and everybody now wants to throw him under the bus. Just relax already. Anyone notice in the late game last night that Jeff Reed missed essentially the same short kick Folk did, and that Shayne Graham missed an extra point? So who is on the list of possible replacements anyway ????
This isnt like a RB or a QB. One HORRIBLE game out of 9 for a kicker is enough to cost you your job these days. Another game like Sunday, and Folk is on the unemployment line....
It wasn't horrible, he did score 8 points after all and two of the kicks were just about forgivable in the conditions.
who are you going to replace him with? Folk has kicked well all season up till Sunday. Cut him some slack.
