Bro, I lived in Vegas for 16 years and actually knew quite well the #1 oddsmaker in Vegas and while his opinion certainly does come into play so does where they feel the public money will go especially on future bets. We're not talking about a week 8 game , we're talking about a position on who the general public will put their money on to win the Super Bowl, of course public teams will have the best odds because the most money will come in on them which of course means the oddsmakers and more importantly the sports books don't want to be giving away money to rubes who only bet the Pats because of the name.
Side question, how are they going to portray all this on America's Game? do they just ignore it? Do they make it a huge point of interest? Do they barely mention it and cut it out in few years as an attempt to white wash NFL history?
