Exactly they voted against the Bengals, Steelers, Ravens, Dolphins and Bills when they decided they didn't even want to play.

Holmes must not be restructured. He must go away. He is a horrible guy.

So 3 teams in 3 years with a winning record. That sure as hell isnt overachieving.

It won't be as much fun without Rex. The Jets will hire a head coach that just drones on and on like every other head coach in the NFL and says nothing interesting. The NFL has become the No Fun League.

This is true unless they get Ray Horton. But canning Ryan to bring in another defensive coach is a questionable act.

Todd Bowles is a possibility. He was on the Al Groh staff and is currently doing an excellent job with the Cardinals defense. But, again, firing a defensive-minded head coach to hire another one?

Greg Roman speaks well like Ken Whisenhunt but both are boring. Roman is much more like Mangini.

Bevell does not have a dynamic personality and is not New York material according to a Seahawks fan friend who I consider extremely knowledgeable.

I thought Rex was a lot of fun when he first came to the team.

    Now, not so much.

I used to think such things as the way he always says "without question" were just verbal tics of his.

Now I wonder whether I would miss not ever hearing him say without question again, and think I would be okay with that.

Yesterday's game was kind of funny. I thought Cleveland played pretty bad. Lots of Jet receivers wide open, and while they stopped Ivory some times, he really gashed them, too. And Campbell sucks.

But the Jets played well for the most part. No turnovers, but way too many penalties. Lucky that Cleveland did not take advantage.

So it was kind of funny that the game may have been good for Ryan, but I really don't know if it will be seen as good enough by Woody and Idzik.

Guess we'll find out, and since I will be out of town, I don't expect to be back here after today until 1/2. By which time we will know a great deal more than now.
