I'm really not worried about this much. Unless the kicking is truly atrocious it's unlikely to truly cost more than one game which isn't the biggest deal unless we're really in the playoff hunt. I expect one of these guys to be competent or the very competent JD will look to outside help midseason. You can get by with borderline kicking in today's NFL just next year when competing it must be addressed.
Nah we’re just commiserating ..... a 9 yard FG obviously is no more so Turner will be tied for shortest FG in Super Bowl game forever. Just like him currently being the Jets leading scorer for a SB - hopefully someday the Jets are back in a SB and somebody a RB or WR scores twice. The point is the lack of Jets Super Bowl appearances....
Im glad you put that last sentence in there ....any team serious about going deep into the playoffs needs a clutch FG kicker. If the Jets wait until next offseason so be it.
