    Wesley was a deep threat- that was it. Santana can make the tough catch, he can break tackles, he can run reverses. He is a better overall player than Walker was. Wesley had way too many drops for my liking.

    Is Lam Jones a big deal? That's like saying Santana shared the ball w/ Anthony becht in 2003:grin: Washington's best other eceiver was TE Chris Cooley but to me that makes it more impressive b/c you know D's were just worried about Santana and he still killed them. he didn't have a Toon or a Shuler to take pressure off him. In 2003 Sanatan was tremendous through about 12 weeks but struggled down the stretch b/c D's took him away, obviously he learned something and didn't let that happen in DC.

    I'm not trying to slam Santana, but I just don't think he's been as good for as long as Wesley Walker. You might be forgetting a lot of the big catches Walker made, he wasn't just a deep guy.
