Not to mention we make our money in the 4th round.

Couldn't disagree more. I can't even remember how many times he fucked up coverages on key drives.

Off the top of my head: the Jags game (TE right down the middle), and the Colts/SD games. I'm sure there's more.

You're definitely right Cato, I mean Tanny is going to blow smoke, but there are nuances you can gather from what he is saying.

I never said BPA wouldn't be a need, I said it MAY not be a need.

The Jets are amazing in the 4th round Leon, Cotchery, Lowery and sigh...Rhodes lol. I just hate its a late 4th pick. I trust Mr.T lets see what he does

He was just not that good the last 2 years, end of story... be happy we got a 4th, and a 7th the following year and get over it... he's replaceable, since he's barely been serviceable since his "pro bowl caliber" season... the whole board seems enamored with one season...

Then Tannenbaum can trade down and pick up two more picks to gives 4 between the 2nd and 4th rounds.

If we cannot use the BPA at 29, some other team definitely could.

Yeah there are still free agent possibilities but you don't need me to tell you how are hands are tied.

Br4dw4y5ux said it best that Rhodes wasn't as good as he could be but he wasn't a problem either, starting a rookie safety will likely result in rookie mistakes.

Yup totally agree man. Then we can actually enjoy watching the draft this year.

It was like Sanchez.....3 hour wait.....Greene....ok draft done.

It's the NFL, rookies are always going to be starting somewhere. We could have a chance to pick up a great upgrade here. Not just for the next season.

"Since Atogwe came into the league as a third-round pick out of Stanford in 2005, he has had a hand in 41 takeaways — an average of 10.25 per season." Most in the NFL of all FS's, next closest is Ed Reed Never knew that

"Moreover, if another team signs him, the Rams would not be due compensation because of the low tender they used. But the Rams can match any offer to Atogwe until June 1. After that they have to pay him approximately $7 million for one season or lose their right to match."

Doesnt sound good to get him. If wed have to wait until at least June 1st, that would mean not grabbing a FS in the draft. And even then the Rams would have the option of offering him 7 mill which is barely more than he made last year.

I am not happy with this at all. We basically gave him away. I really hope Sharper is on his way. Is he RFA or UFA?

Ok....nobody wants the top 5 pick this year and I understand why. If we don't upgrade at this position could we be trading up for Berry? I know I'll get ripped apart for this, but nothing will surprise me at this point with Tanny. It will probabally cost us our whole draft, but this Defense would be scary......
