Maybe it's just because I am new, but this thread seems to be approaching epic length...especially given the subject matter. Shouldn't it have been kept to 140 characters or less?

    No, not it wouldn't.

This has been beaten to death too. Boldin is getting old, wants a new contract, and is perenially on the injury report with his hamstring issues. Those things don't get better with age.

Agree with this 100%.. Atogwe is a good player. I want no part of Mays.. we already have one workout warrior wearing #56 we don't need one in the secondary as well.

We really should just be able to replace his number with a picture of a kitten...sucking at football.

I wish he had kept #56. Every time I see #50 out there I expect it to be Eric Barton yelling or elbowing someone in the face ..not some turnip loafing around with his hand on his hips.

Whoops, I stand corrected. Maybe we should get him a jersey in the 1-20 range and see if he can be our new punter. With all those impressive combine workouts, maybe he has some power in that right foot of his and we can get some use of him afterall.

Maybe that little bitch could get some sympathy roughing the kicker calls from the refs just from the skirt he's wearing.

Could Gholston's jersey actually get dirtier as a punter than a OLB?

I wish the Jets would have kept him. I enjoyed watching him play for the team these past few years, even if he was a bit of a prima donna.

Same for Thomas Jones and Jay Feely. I'm gonna miss all these guys. I think all three are difficult to replace.

I like the Cro trade, but I think these other moves work in the wrong direction. I think the Jets are more interested in cutting pay, than they are at winning the Super Bowl.

The Jets made the final four last season, and although it was luck that they made it into the playoffs, it was no fluke.

I believe the Jets should keep the team intact as it was, with a few needed upgrades. One of those upgrades was answered with the signing of Cromartie. But toying with a great running game (possibly losing Jones and Washington), dumping a very trustworthy kicker for a nobody, and trading away a better-than-average safety in Kerry Rhodes, it just seems to me that this team isn't looking to win a championship. It's looking to cut cost.

Woody just pitched on a $3 billion stadium, and has signed almost a dozen quality free agents in the past 2 offseasons. He's jonesin' for a championship.

where do you come up this logic?

Woody Johnson has won the offseason Super Bowl the last 2 seasons.....he's trying to sell PSL's.....the guy has laid down some SERIOUS coin to sign UFA's like Bart Scott, Alan Faneca, and Calvin Pace.
