Oh definitely, I was mostly just suggesting that if we were going to give up a draft pick for another FS it would HAVE to be Landry. But ill be crossing my fingers for Atogwe anyway. Odds are hes gonna be looking at a 5 year - 35 million dollar deal very similar to Rolle (and Atogwe is better). Question is would the front office pay it?
I don't think Atogwe will get a contract like that, coming off an injury... I could be wrong... but don't see it...
He has the most turnovers of any safety in the nfl since he started playing, hes got good coverage skills and is a great hitter. Plus hes the only stud safety left on the market who could be had without giving up a draft pick. That plus at least 5 teams are going to be fighting over him I cant see him making less than 7 mill a year.

What exactly was it about Rhodes play last season that convinced everyone we got fleeced in this deal? If anything, I congratulate Tanny on getting anything out of this deal. Rhodes doesn't care about football at this point. Talent never translates without motivation.
