    That's who I'm betting on too.

    Sloppy track today. I know I'm going to be watching with my hands over my eyes. I can still see Eight Belles going down in my mind.

    A 50-1 shot. I hit it, but that wasn't the great story, because I always put money on longshots in big races. The REAL story was that I also hit the exacta. Plus, I had the show horse a couple different ways. $2700 day for me. Heh.

    i always put $20 on a long shot. # 8 is my wife bday and my friend bird past away this year. i never made it to the window.

    my wife said look on the brightside if i bet him he would ahve lost.

    HAH!

    I made a couple dozen bets, so I was bound to win something. My money out would have been enough. Biggest race day ever for me was when Birdstone - Mine That Bird's dad - beat Smarty Jones in the Belmont a few years back. I was making sentimental bets.

    That race was amazing. I told couch ass it was like watching a NASCAR driver ride the low end of the track, the way he just weaved in and out, hugging the rail.

    My 3 year run of hitting the trifecta on either the Oaks or the Derby ended but my better half had $5 to win on 8.

    Her $250 win was just about eaten up by my $150 in bets.
