No. He'd be out of games more than he'd be in games. Whether it be run ins with the police or injury. The guy would be a waste IMHO. I don't care what he "has to prove" or if he has a chip in his shoulder, he's too stupid to stay out of trouble and he's an injury waiting to happen.
I'm OK with the team doing their due diligence on the guy. If he is still an entitled jackass with bad knees, no way do I want him on the team. If he appears to have his shit together and his knees check out, sign him at a discount that reflects the risk the team is taking.
