We don't need another injured WR taking up a roster spot, so I can't see us trading for him unless he's 100%. Take a chance on signing him after the season once the Titans let him walk.

Spadola is cool, but he ain't no Kenny Britt. Britt might work out, he is definitely worth a 6th or 7th rounder. Signing Britt & Braylon can really turn this season around. That would mean that Jets not only upgraded Offense, but did it during the season.....a very mighty accomplishment. Kuddos to the Front Office.
We would be looking at a team going from the worst Offensive playmakers in the AFC East, to tied for the top.

Jets Offense would look like :

    WR's:

    David Nelson
    Kenny Britt
    Santonio Holmes
    Stephen Hill
    Jeremy Kerley
    Ryan Spadola

    TE's:
    Zack Sudfeld
    Jeff Cumberland
    Kellen Winslow

    RB's:
    Chris Ivory
    Bilal Powell
    Mike Goodson
    Alex Green

A much improved & dynamic cast for Geno to play with. All this reaction, just from adding Kenny Britt. Jets still need a #1 break-away RB next season.

Britt has developed a bad case of the drops. Tennesse would be happy to let us have him.

thought the jets were trying to move away from the headcases?

An established winning program can add guys like Britt. The Jets can't. Not yet at least.

I'd do it we're gonna have a ton of picks in next years draft. And although Britt has a horrible case of the drops recently, a former Jets WR seemingly changed that with a change of scenery (Braylon). Point is we just signed David Nelson, really.

I say go for it, the Titans have a lot of talent at WR these days and if we can get him for a 7th i say do it. I really dont wanna see Nelson, Gates getting any playing time. Its already tough for Geno, why not potentially help him out.

For a 6th or 7th, we should give the local guy a chance. Maybe being home will ease his mind and we end up with a kickass receiver. Otherwise he'll prolly end up in Tampa with Coach Shiano.
