True... but you run a risk when you force a disgruntled player to finish his contract. Pittsburgh has the same situation with another G, Alan Faneca... though Faneca has already been far more talkative and disruptive than Kendall has been. I think both players will continue to play hard - the golden goose strangles when your on-field performance slips noticeably... but there are many ways to disrupt team chemistry, that never show up in coaches video.
