I'm no Tebow fan...but he probably should have been used more against the Steelers if we wanted the win. Might it have damaged Sanchez's psyche? Probably. Definitely would have caused a major media shit storm.
So Winslow is as good as Hernandez now? We did sign somebody. I forget who it was. Keller will be fine. Cumberland looks like he's still very green. He needs more reps. Keller is our phins killer, though.
I hate how Sanchez failed to singlehandedly stop the Pittsburgh offense from burning a full 10 minutes of clock on a single drive in the 4th quarter when the Jets really needed to get the ball back... I hate when Sanchez does that.
Konrad Reuland did a nice job on Sunday, or so I thought. Obviously he's not on the same level of Keller, but Keller will be back either tomorrow or next week. His injury was only going to take one or two games, whereas Hernandez is out AT LEAST a month and the Patriots entire offense runs off their two and three TE packages. Totally different situations.
Houston, Detroit, Cleveland, Denver, NE, PITT, Chicago, etc etc. Year before 2010, he played pretty poorly in SD until the 4th quarter. Don't remember specifics of that season anymore. Last year BUF on the top of my head and that's it.
Agreed! Sanchez did not look the same last week as he did in Buffalo. The playcalling on the 1st drive was much better in the first drive was much more similar to that of the first game as well. However, Sanchez was no where near as quick to decide last week as the week before. Also, some will say the protection broke down, but the protection was pretty damn good. Holmes, may have dropped some passes, but how many penalties did he draw? Kerley was only targeted like once, and Hill only once. I haven't reviewed the tape again, so I may have missed a couple. The run game was going pretty well with Powell, and we went back to a woozie Greene. I disagree with this decision. The biggest failure with this game was we couldn't take down Ben, but the positive outlook is that we got to Ben, alot! All in all we got beat by an experience team.
The Pats, hate em or love em, run their organization better than the Jets. Which isn't really an insult because they do it better than pretty much the whole NFL. That is why they have been Superbowl contenders pretty much every year this past decade
I'll agree that the Pats run their organization very well, but no better than the Steelers. I'd also say that having an elite QB masks a lot of other organizational issues. The Colts ran great for a decade when 18 was there. The 49ers were a well run organization while they had Montana and Young...........but look at what happened to those organizations after the star QBs left town. Of course, the QB can't mask everything: Saints got bounty gate, Kelly's Bills and Tarkenton/Kapp Vikings never won the SB, despite seemingly well run clubs.
